Over thirty five years of experience in industrial project management namely in food processing as well as other manufacturing industries. Martin has represented leading suppliers such as Cargill, ConAgra, Tones/Burns Philp, Provesta, Martin Bauer, and Fuchs North America/Baltimore Spice. His growth success’s with regional, national and international companies include strategic business development, product, supply chain and compliance management, food safety, ingredients and product specification and labeling assistance, yield improvement, quality process and operations improvement and creative and innovative product applications and development, as well as HACCP, OSHA, and FSMA assistance, workforce development, financial assistance and grant management.
Mr. Potnick uses innovative problem solving techniques, numerous Lean manufacturing techniques and its building blocks, and a wealth of personal and NVIE resources, to improve manufacturer’s products, processes, performance and business. Martin has a long standing association with the international organization; The Institute of Food Technologists(IFT), one of the most highly regarded professional organizations in the industry, and its local chapter, the 1000 member subsection Northern California Section of IFT (NCIFT) and is completing his three year executive committee chairmanship.as its current Immediate Past Chair. Mr. Potnick is also a member of the Nevada Food Safety Task Force and a creator and founder of the Northern Nevada Food Forum, as well as an active participant with the Carson City Manufacturers Forum.
